The “Student Research Center Prümer Land” (SFZ) is the heart of the MINT region EIFEL and serves qualified and sustainable MINT education for children and young people of all school forms along the entire education chain. The institution offers a wide range of opportunities for individual scientific experimentation, research, development, evaluation, and presentation.
The offerings of the SFZ range from regularly occurring AGs for children from kindergarten age to extensive holiday workshops on various topics, as well as support for research and competition work. For older adolescents, the SFZ also provides individual career counseling in cooperation with local partners. In addition, school classes and kindergarten groups can visit the SFZ and participate in practical workshops on various BNE and MINT topics. Learning in the sense of education for sustainable development is the focus of all events.
The SFZ is operated by the Nature Park Nordeifel e.V., which has its office and the Nature Park Center Prümer Land in the same building.
