"FAKE/ Wie wahr ist die Wirklichkeit?"
Oct 4, 2025 - Oct 19, 2025
Prüm
Art Exhibition
This exhibition brings together a diverse group of artists, all alumni of the Royal Drawing School, London. They question in very individual ways what and why we consider something to be true, how reality is created, and how we interpret it.
"How true is reality?" invites you to go beyond our perception – and shows how art as a communal experience can help develop new perspectives.
On 04.10.2025 at 3 PM, there will be a welcome by the Mayor of the city of Prüm, Dr. Johannes Reuschen. The introduction will be given by Amy Drayson, Heidrun van Dörfjes, and Iain Richardson (in German and English).
Following that, at 4:30 PM, there will be a tour of the exhibition with live music by Jonas Blume. Blume is a German jazz pianist and composer from the Rheinland-Palatinate Westerwald, currently living and studying in Brussels.
On 05.10.2025 at 2 PM, there will be another tour of the exhibition. Afterwards, Pat Ballantyne and Iain Richardson will play music from Scotland.
Additionally, on 10.10.2025 at 6 PM, a tour of the exhibition will be held, followed by a documentary film about fame, control, and social media, along with a discussion.*
On 12.10.2025 at 4 PM, the last tour of the exhibition will take place. Finally, there will be a lecture on "Fake News - Social Media and its Impact on the Information Space" by Professor Dr. Marten Risius (Professor for Digital Society and Online Engagement at the University of Applied Sciences Neu-Ulm).*
