Geschichte im Kino - Die Vennbahn

Film screening
The Vennbahn is a former railway line between Aachen and Troisvierges in Luxembourg, passing through Monschau and Sankt Vith, with connections to Stolberg, Eupen, Malmedy, Jünkerath, and Prüm. As a result of the border changes and territorial concessions after World War I, the original German route changed in some sections from German to Belgian territory. The film tells the story surrounding the Vennbahn and features new aerial footage as well as maps to narrate the exciting history of the railway line in the Venn-Eifel region. The Vennbahn route is now known as a cycle and hiking path and connects the regions.
