JGA: Lamas, Lagerfeuer & Glühwein
Feb 6, 2026 - Feb 27, 2027
Schönecken
Hike
Enjoy your last big joint date as bridesmaids! Only our Lama boys are allowed as the only male guests. Spend a relaxed time on a walk with the furry four-legged friends. The hiking route covers about 4 kilometers and has little elevation change, making it suitable for everyone, even those who are not sporty ;-).
We will be on the move with the Lamas for about an hour. Back at the paddock, a fire bowl, stick bread, and fresh sausages await you. You’ll sit around the fire bowl, grilling stick bread and sausages. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can sit under our porch and wrap yourselves in warm blankets. To drink, we offer non-alcoholic warm punch and homemade mulled wine.
How does the event work?
Your tour begins and ends directly below the ruins of Schönecken Castle at the eifelnomaden meadow. After a brief introduction where you'll get to know the Lamas and learn how to lead such an animal, you will start your walk into the nature reserve together with your guide.
The route initially leads down a grassy path into the valley of the Altburgbach. We stroll through the juniper groves and soon reach the valley again. Now there’s a slight ascent up to the castle hill, where we can take a photo stop in front of the charming ruins of Schönecken Castle. Past Wilhelmshöhe, we head back to the Lama meadow, where you'll again have plenty of time for unforgettable memory photos.
Back at our open barn, a cheerful fire is already flickering in the fire bowls upon your return. Maybe you grilled stick bread together as children? If not, we will show you how it’s done! While stick bread and sausages are roasting on one fire bowl, the punch is quietly simmering on the other. Or would you prefer to try the homemade spicy mulled wine? A bachelorette party couldn't be more traditional!
If the weather doesn’t cooperate fully, we’ll set up the fire bowls under our porch and you can wrap yourselves in our warm blankets.
