Hike

Enjoy your last great joint date as bridesmaids! Only our male guests, the llama boys, are allowed. Spend a relaxed time walking with the fluffy four-legged friends, the llamas. The hiking route is about 4 kilometers long and has little elevation gain, making it suitable for even the most inexperienced hikers ;-).
We will be out with the llamas for about an hour. Back at the paddock, a picnic basket filled with delicious finger food and sparkling wine awaits you. Whether in the llama pasture or at the Wilhelmshöhe viewpoint, enjoy the picnic and toast together to the bride's future.

How does the event work?

Your tour begins and ends just below the ruins of Schönecken Castle in the pasture of the Eifelnomads. After a brief introduction, where you will meet the llamas and learn how to handle them, you will start your walk into the nature reserve with your guide.
The route initially leads down a grassy path into the valley of the Altburgbach. On the opposite slope, rare orchids bloom in early summer under slender junipers. We walk through the juniper groves and soon return to the valley. Now, a gentle ascent leads us up to the castle hill, where we can take a photo stop in front of the rustic castle ruins of Schönecken. Passing by Wilhelmshöhe, we now head back to the llama pasture, where you will have ample time for unforgettable photos.
Upon returning to the pasture, a picnic basket filled with delicious finger food will be ready for you. Near our pasture, you can make yourselves comfortable and, of course, toast to the bride's future.

What is included in the picnic basket?

Look forward to delicious and fresh finger food including—depending on the season—homemade sandwiches, tomato-mozzarella skewers, small meatballs (for vegetarians, for example, falafel), vegetable sticks, and various dips. We also pack a sweet dessert and juice.
You can order the basket as vegetarian or vegan and, if desired, additionally pre-order more sparkling wine or non-alcoholic drinks.

What to bring: hiking shoes (depending on the route; sturdy, profiled soles are beneficial), day backpack, water bottle, suitable clothing, and possibly a head covering (depending on the season for sun, rain, or cold)

Participants: exclusive, individual event for a small group with a minimum of 8/maximum of 16 people

Requirements: average fitness (total distance approx. 4 km, pure walking time about 1 hour, elevation difference 50 m), dogs are unfortunately not allowed.
