Car-free Experience Day

"Up on the bike" is the motto again on Whit Monday. Between Rommersheim (near Prüm) and Rittersdorf (near Bitburg), the valley of the Eifel stream Nims invites you once again to the cycling experience day. The special thing about this day: The state road L5 will be closed to motor traffic from 9 AM to 7 PM.

The official start of "Nim(m)s Rad" this year is at 10:00 AM at Rittersdorf Castle.

Along the route, participants can expect a varied supporting program and good entertainment with music, Eifel specialties, homemade cakes, children's animation, and much more.

If you have a breakdown on the way, the professionals from the Diederichs bike shop in Weinsheim will assist you at the cyclist service station in Schönecken. Along the route, stationary contact points of the DRK medical service can be found in Schönecken, at the Nimshuscheider Mill, and in Bickendorf.

Charging options for e-bikes will also be established along the route. Participation in the cycling experience day is at your own risk.
