Look forward to a varied company party with animal company in Schönecker Schweiz!

Your tour begins and ends directly below the castle ruins of Schönecken on the eifelnomaden pasture. After an entertaining introduction, during which you will get to know the llamas and alpacas and learn how to lead such an animal, you will set off on your hike into the nature reserve.

Schönecker Schweiz is a little-known but incredibly diverse nature reserve in the southern Eifel. It is characterized by deeply carved valleys with clear streams and wide plateaus. In late fall, the red-golden foliage will enchant you. From the end of November, snow often covers the forests and harvested fields. With the right clothing, your alpaca and llama hike is a unique experience, because with the cuddly llamas and aplakas at your side, even cold winter weather is no problem at all!

Right at the start, you head down into the valley of the Altburgbach stream. Orchards and the dark silhouettes of juniper bushes accompany us. Then we climb the "Op Ischt" ridge and let our gaze wander as far as the High Fens. A little later, we enter the beech forest and follow the Schalkenbach stream on its way down to the Nims.

After about an hour's walk, we are there! The quaint crêperie "Nice Corner", located directly on the riverbank, awaits us. Here we can choose between delicious sweet and savory crêpes: Do you fancy a crêpe with chocolate and banana, or cheese and onions? Would you prefer a freshly baked waffle or a delicious sausage? Would you like cocoa, soft drinks or coffee with it? Would you like to warm up with a (non-alcoholic) mulled wine or tea? The choice is yours!

We sit together comfortably for about an hour. Meanwhile, our llamas graze in the adjacent meadow. Then we head back up to Schönecker Schweiz and the ruins of Schönecken Castle. After another hour's hike, we reach our stable again. Now is the time for the ultimate group photo of your animal-themed company party!

To book your company party, simply choose a suitable date and request the tour. There must be at least six of you. From a group size of 10 people upwards, you can request an individual offer from us.

Note for employers: If you give your employees our hike in the form of a voucher, this can be granted as a non-cash benefit. There is currently a monthly exemption limit of 50 euros for benefits in kind. If this limit has not yet been used for other benefits in kind in the month in question - such as voucher cards or comparable additional benefits - gifts in kind up to this amount can be given free of tax and social security contributions. The prerequisite is that the benefit is given as a benefit in kind and not as a cash payment.
Companies can also give their employees the opportunity to spend time together outside of the workplace with a company event - for example, a joint llama or alpaca walk in the countryside. A tax-free allowance of 110 euros gross per participating person currently applies to company events for up to two events per year (Section 19 (1) no. 1a EStG). All costs of the event can be included in this amount, such as organization, implementation, catering or program items. In contrast to non-cash benefits, this is an allowance and not a tax-free limit. This means that up to 110 euros per person remain tax and social security contribution-free; only an amount in excess of this would be subject to tax.
