Picture Book Cinema

What is it actually?
The Picture Book Cinema has developed as a special form of reading and storytelling. While the story from the book is read aloud or told, the images are projected in large format onto a screen using an iPad and projector.
The picture book has a special significance for child development. The stories and images in books help children cope with everyday experiences and open up a fascinating world of new experiences. The format of the Picture Book Cinema introduces children to books in an exciting and playful way. The aim is to motivate them to read in the broadest sense; imagination should be stimulated, and language skills should be promoted.
