Parkplatz am Geo-Pfad an der B410
The Nordeifel Nature Park invites families & adults to a free guided tour on the Geo Trail Prümer Held.
Walk
On Earth Day, interested newcomers and experienced amateur paleontologists can exchange ideas at the five stations of the region's typical geological layers from the Lower and Middle Devon period. With a bit of luck, fossils such as brachiopods, shells, or sea lilies may be discovered.
Additionally, a visit to the exhibition "Human and Nature" at the Nature Park Center Prümer Land located at Tiergartenstraße 70 is offered. Here, numerous fossils from the region can be viewed.
The duration of the event is approximately 2-3 hours, but can be adjusted to the needs of the group.
Included: Speaker, admission to the exhibition at the Nature Park Center Prümer Land
Not included: Refreshments
What to bring: sturdy footwear, weatherproof clothing, provisions (for a small picnic in nice weather), optional: geologist's hammer (or similar), wire brush, protective gloves, safety glasses
