Picture Book Cinema

What is it actually?
The Picture Book Cinema has developed as a special form of reading aloud and storytelling. While the story from the book is read or told, the images are projected in large format onto a screen using an iPad and projector.
The picture book has a special significance for child development. The stories and pictures in books help children cope with everyday experiences and open up a fascinating world of new experiences. The event format of the Picture Book Cinema introduces children to books in an exciting and playful way. The aim is to motivate them to read in the broadest sense; to stimulate their imagination and promote their language skills.
