You can ride along old railroad tracks with almost no inclines.
This way, you can really enjoy the Eifel countryside.
The Eifel-Ardennes Bike Trail leads all the way to St. Vith in Belgium.
On the Prüm Bike Trail, you can explore the Prüm Valley.
The Alfbach Valley is also beautiful.
There are peaceful trails through nature there—
perfect for families.
Looking for a bigger challenge?
On a mountain bike, you’ll ride along forest trails.
You’ll ride over hills and through valleys.
On a road bike, you can cover long distances.
There are flat trails.
There are fast descents in the valley.
And there are challenging mountain climbs.
In the Southern Eifel, there are bike trails for everyone—
from leisurely family rides to challenging athletic routes.
Everyone can find the right route here.
The best moments are when people happen to run into each other at our café after a long time apart, when our regulars feel right at home, or when conversations spill over from one table to another.
Cycling Events
In the Prümer Land region, there are two special days each year.
These days are car-free.
The days are called:
“Fun in the Prüm Valley” and “Nim(m)s Rad.”
On these days, the streets are closed to cars.
Cars aren’t allowed to drive there.
The route then belongs to cyclists.
Inline skaters and pedestrians are also allowed to use the route.
Adventure tour through the Gerolsteiner Land
