Bigbandworkshop mit Werkstattkonzert in Prüm

The workshop is aimed at all interested instrumentalists – regardless of age or big band experience – who are passionate about big band jazz and want to further develop their skills.

Workshop

The focus is on the teaching of big band playing techniques, improvisation, arrangement, and making music together. Instructor Frank Reichert brings not only his musical knowledge but also his experience as an organizer and networker to give participants new impulses.

Schedule
Friday, 6:00 p.m.: Introduction and start with intensive workshops
Saturday, all day: Continuation of the workshops
Sunday, May 31: In the morning, final rehearsals of complex passages. At 4:00 p.m. workshop concert – presentation of the workshop results with the Jazz Initiative Eifel e.V. at the Orpheum Prüm

Accommodation
Accommodation options are available if needed. The Jazz Initiative is a member of the Youth Hostels Association and can pass on the benefits of membership to the workshop participants. Therefore, the youth hostel in Prüm is recommended.

Catering
Catering is not included in the workshop price, so lunch and dinner will be taken together nearby. A cozy end to the day in the evening is also planned. During rehearsals, drinks will be offered at cost price.

Access and Parking
Parking is easily available directly at the Orpheum Prüm. Access is barrier-free. E-charging stations are available in the immediate vicinity.

The number of participants is limited, so registration with payment is required.
