What is that actually?
The picture book cinema has developed as a special form of reading aloud and storytelling. While the story from the book is read or told, the images are projected in large format onto a screen using an iPad and a projector.
The picture book has a special significance for children's development. The stories and images in books help in coping with everyday experiences and open up a fascinating world of new experiential spaces. The format of the picture book cinema introduces children to books in an exciting and playful way. The goal is broadly to motivate them to read; the imagination should be stimulated and their linguistic expression enhanced.
