Departure to Schönecken with bus line 440 is at 10.35 a.m.
The hiking route is 13 km long, has an elevation gain of 210 meters and takes about three and a half to four hours. It starts at the bus parking lot in Schönecken and offers a beautiful view from the Held over Prüm at the end. It is recommended to bring a backpack with food, enough drinks, sturdy footwear, and clothing suitable for the weather. The hiking guide for this hike is Dietmar Tarnow.
