Flickstuff is all about repairing.

Electricians, carpenters, computer experts, and mechanics offer free help with all kinds of repairs. Experienced seamstresses also offer their assistance, not only helping to sew or mend broken items but also providing important tips on other types of handicrafts and alterations to clothing. Items are repaired that can no longer be fixed at a professional repair shop or for which repair would be uneconomical. There is no charge for the actual repair at Flickstuff; you only need to pay for replacement parts or provide them yourself. Donations are, of course, welcome.
