Gina Heinrichs, the initiator of the Wild Carrot Herbal and Nature School, is starting her course program again this year (2026) after completing her further education as an Ayurveda specialist coach.
Hiking, trekking over several days or beautiful events with llamas: with the "eifelnomaden" you can explore nature, slow down and be out and about with all your senses.
Embedded in the forest and mountain landscape of the Eifel, you can experience the animals up close all year round! From small inhabitants, such as cute coatis, to "wild" big cats, to the big stag, visitors can observe animals at eye level. Around 60 animal species in the northern hemisphere and Australia, i.e. a total of approx. 400 animals, live on 30 hectares in the Eifel Zoo.
"Waldfreibad" - the name could not be more appropriately chosen for this wonderful outdoor pool on the outskirts of the forest town of Prüm. Everywhere the bathing guest is surrounded by "pure nature".
When winter comes with enough natural snow on the "Black Man" at an altitude of 698 m, the snow-covered forest shows its most beautiful side for winter sports enthusiasts and winter hikers alike.

Skittles lanes are narrower than bowling lanes, and the balls used in skittles usually have no holes.
Kegeln is one of the traditional leisure activities of the Eifel region and is often referred to as the region’s original “bowling.” On the kegeln lane, players try to knock down as many of the nine pins as possible with a ball. It is a social game that has provided fun and entertainment for generations. Even today, kegeln clubs exist for young and old alike, ensuring hours of fun and camaraderie.
