Would you like to take it easy on your bachelorette party? Then the llama and alpaca walk with a picnic and sparkling wine is perfect for you! The 4-kilometer hike is easygoing, with minimal elevation changes. Back at the paddock, a picnic basket filled with delicious finger foods and sparkling wine will be waiting for you.
Hike
Enjoy your last big girls’ night out together! The only male guests allowed are our llama boys. Spend a relaxing time with these fluffy animals on a llama and alpaca hike. The hike is about 4 kilometers long with minimal elevation changes, making it perfect even for those who aren’t big on sports ;-).
We’ll be out with the llamas and alpacas for about an hour. Back at the paddock, a picnic basket with delicious finger food and sparkling wine will be waiting for you. You can enjoy the picnic either on the llama pasture or at the Wilhelmshöhe lookout point and toast the bride’s future together.
How does the event work?
Your tour begins and ends right below the Schönecken castle ruins on the Eifelnomaden pasture. After an entertaining introduction, during which you’ll get to know the llamas and alpacas and learn how to lead them, you’ll set off with your guide on a walk through the nature reserve.
The route first leads down a grassy path into the Altburgbach valley. On the opposite slope, rare orchids bloom in early summer beneath slender juniper trees. We’ll stroll through the juniper groves and soon return to the valley. Next comes a gentle climb up to Burgberg, where we’ll stop for photos in front of the rustic ruins of Schönecken Castle. Passing by Wilhelmshöhe, we’ll head back to the llama pasture, where you’ll have plenty of time once again to take unforgettable souvenir photos.
Upon returning to the pasture, a picnic basket filled with delicious finger foods will be waiting for you. Near our pasture, you can make yourselves comfortable and, of course, toast to the bride’s future.
What’s included in the picnic basket?
Look forward to delicious and fresh finger foods, including—depending on the season—homemade sandwiches, tomato-mozzarella skewers, small meatballs (for vegetarians, such as falafel), vegetable sticks, and various dips. We’ll also include a sweet dessert and juice.
You’re welcome to order the basket as vegetarian or vegan, and, if you’d like, you can order additional sparkling wine or non-alcoholic beverages (in advance).
