Enjoy some time with your special someone! Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway for two or just want to treat yourselves to some time together—perhaps for a birthday or your anniversary—your exclusive date for two includes a hike with two of our llamas or alpacas, followed by a delicious picnic.

Llama Hike Followed by a Picnic

Our llama pasture is located above Schönecken with a view of the castle, right next to the nature reserve. Here, you can enjoy your very own special outing in the company of our llamas and alpacas—definitely the most good-natured “wingmen” in the world.
Your exclusive event includes a private, guided hike with two of our alpacas and llamas through the Schönecker Schweiz nature reserve and a visit to the Schönecken castle ruins. Afterward, you can round out your llama date with a cozy picnic near our pasture.
Anyone who wants to spend a day together can join our “Time for Two” llama date: couples, friends, a parent with a child, or siblings.

How does the event work?
You’ll come to our pasture, where our guide will be waiting for you. After a brief and entertaining introduction to our llamas and alpacas, you’ll set off on your roughly two-hour hike. You’ll cross the Altburgbach Valley and take a short break in a hidden clearing. Here, you’ll have plenty of time to take unforgettable photos.
Upon returning to the pasture, a picnic basket filled with delicious finger foods will be waiting for you. Near our pasture, you can make yourselves comfortable and wind down the day.
Included is a guided hike with two llamas or alpacas and the picnic basket (which can also be filled with vegetarian or vegan options upon request). We offer this event on a private basis only. That’s why it’s easiest if you message us so we can work out a date together. You can then give your partner the “Llama Date” as a personalized gift certificate.

What’s included in the picnic basket?
Look forward to delicious and fresh finger foods featuring—depending on the season—homemade sandwiches, tomato-mozzarella skewers, small meatballs (for vegetarians, such as falafel), vegetable sticks, and various dips. We’ll also include a sweet dessert and juice.
You’re welcome to order the basket as vegetarian or vegan, and you can add a bottle of sparkling wine or wine upon request.

an authentic picnic basket with finger foods and non-alcoholic beverages
a guide who speaks German and English

What to bring: Hiking boots with sturdy, treaded soles (depending on the route), daypack, water bottle, appropriate clothing, and, if necessary, a hat (depending on the season—for sun, rain, or cold)

Participants: Exclusive, private event for two people

Requirements: Average fitness level (total distance to be determined together based on your preference); minimum age for leading an animal: 10 years; must always be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.
