Anyone who wants to spend a day together can join us for “Time for Two”: couples, friends, a parent with a child, or siblings.

Our pasture is located above Schönecken with a view of the castle, right next to the nature reserve. Here you can spend your very own special time together in the company of our llamas and alpacas—definitely the most loyal “wingmen” in the world.
Your very own exclusive llama event includes a private, guided hike with two of our llamas or alpacas through the Schönecker Schweiz Nature Reserve and a visit to the Schönecken Castle ruins.

How does the event work?
You’ll come to our pasture, where our guide will already be waiting for you. After a brief and entertaining introduction to our llamas and alpacas, you’ll set off on your hike. You’ll cross the Altburgbach Valley and take a short break in a hidden clearing. Here, you’ll have plenty of time to take unforgettable photos.
Included is a guided llama hike with two llamas or alpacas. We offer this event only as a private tour. You can book dates directly on the eifelnomaden website. If you’d like to surprise your favorite person and give them a llama or alpaca hike as a gift, you can purchase a gift certificate. You can then simply set the date for your alpaca or llama hike later and redeem the gift certificate.

What to bring: Hiking boots with sturdy, treaded soles (depending on the route), daypack, water bottle, appropriate clothing, and headwear if needed (depending on the season—for sun, rain, or cold)

Participants: Exclusive, private event for two people

Requirements: Average fitness level (total distance to be determined together based on your preference); minimum age for leading an animal: 10 years; must always be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.
